Toney hauls in lion's share at UFC 118
UFC 118 co-headliners Randy Couture and James Toney combined for a base salary of $750,000 to top payroll for this past Saturday's event.
The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission revealed the full list of UFC 118 paydays on Sept. 2.
Total disclosed payroll for the event was nearly $1.43 million. Toney's $500,000 payday was the highest, accounting for nearly one-third of total payouts.
UFC 118 marked the organization's first foray into Boston, Mass., with the TD Garden playing host to the event, which officially drew 14,168 spectators for a $2.8 million live gate.
In addition to the figures listed below, Joe Lauzon earned $60,000 for the "Submission of the Night" bonus, while both Nate Diaz and Marcus Diaz pocketed $60,000 for the "Fight of the Night."
The full list of base salaries included below does not take into account insurance deductions, fight-night bonuses, pay-per-view bonuses or money paid by sponsors.
