Sergey Kovalev defends his WBA/WBO/IBF light heavyweight titles this Saturday against former super middleweight king Andre Ward in the best fight that can be made in boxing. Live stream the pre-fight weigh-in right here.

The weigh-in for Sergey Kovalev-Andre Ward begins at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT. Don’t expect anything dramatic or shocking, as Ward has only recently moved up from super middleweight and should make 175 pounds comfortably; moreover, Sergey Kovalev has never struggled with weight issues. Plus, both men are supremely motivated, and their training camps have surely reflected this.

Also, don’t forget that the pre-pay-per-view undercard features the professional debut of double Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields. Shields will fight amateur rival and former eight-time national champion and world championship silver (2012) and bronze (2016) medalist Franchon Crews. Shields is viewed as the fighter most likely to raise the profile of women’s boxing, which is disturbingly marginalized, especially when compared to the UFC.
