Former welterweight champion Zab Judah will return to the ring on Nov. 6 when he faces Argentina's Lucas Matthysse at the Prudential Center.
Judah (39-6, 27 KOs) will be a significant step up in class for Matthysse, who is 27-0 with 25 knockouts. The 27-year-old's best win came against Vivian Harris in February.
Judah has won three straight fights, including an impressive second-round knockout of Ubaldo Hernandez and an even more emphatic third-round knockout of Jose Armando Santa Cruz in July.
He's hoping to make a statement in a loaded junior welterweight division that includes such names as Timothy Bradley, Devon Alexander and Amir Khan.
