Former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has withdrawn from his June 29 fight with Manuel Charr of Germany after hurting his left hand in training.
Haye announced the decision on Tuesday, two days after the injury. He said the injury needs at least four weeks of rest. Haye (26-2) was set to meet Charr (23-1) in Manchester, England.
Haye has fought only once since he lost his WBA title to Wladimir Klitschko in July 2011.
