Having lost more than 22 kilograms to make his boxing debut, former England cricket captain Andrew Flintoff is leaving open the possibility of fighting again.

Flintoff takes on American fighter Richard Dawson in a heavyweight bout on Friday in Manchester, England, as part of a British TV documentary charting his switch from cricket to boxing.

Flintoff said Thursday that ''my focus over the past 4 1/2 months has been tomorrow night and then after that we'll decide where it's going.''

Dawson has won both of his professional fights, as well as another unlicensed bout.

Flintoff says ''there will be critics and doubters out there and it's a big task I've taken on. I'm just concentrating on the fight and we'll see what the reaction is.''
