Cornelius Bundrage stopped Cory Spinks in the seventh round to retain his IBF junior middleweight championship on Saturday.

Spinks, a 34-year-old southpaw, was knocked to the canvas three times in the seventh before referee Ray Corona stopped the fight, a rematch of Bundrage's TKO win in the fifth round in 2010.

Bundrage, 39, improved to 32-4 with 19 knockouts. Spinks is 39-7.

Featherweight Gary Russell, Jr. (20-0) stopped Christopher Perez in the third and junior middleweight Erislandy Lara (17-1-1) thrashed Freddy Hernandez over 10 rounds to take a unanimous decision.
