Impact Smith is a 5-foot-7, 185-pound junior looking to make his mark among Houston's running backs. But with his left foot in a boot Wednesday, him being immediately available for games may not be the case. Smith has between three and four weeks to recover before Houston's 2024 team begins its season by hosting UNLV on Aug. 31.
