WWE's The New Day enter a time machine in hilarious Raw segment
WWE's The New Day are on the verge of breaking the record for the longest cumulative tag team title reign, and it's easy to see why. The trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods have become three of the biggest stars in wrestling thanks to their incredible chemisty and charisma, and even when they aren't wrestling, The New Day are a highlight of every show.
On Monday Night Raw, The New Day burned their Extreme Rules opponents The Vaudevillains in one of the funniest segments in years. To try and better understand the team of Simon Gotch and Aiden English, Woods unveiled a homemade time machine - the New DayLorean - to transport The New Day to the same "bygone era."
Kingston exited to his old theme music and protested as Woods tried to pull him back inside the time machine, yelling "2009 was my best year."
A few seconds later the screen turned to black and white, and The New Day's signature Booty O's cereal was replaced with "Derriere Squares." On an episode filled with arguably too many in-ring promos, The New DayLorean was comedy gold.
