Becky Lynch will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss for the second time.

Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss have feuded for most of the past two months. Bliss won a No. 1 Contender’s match, which should have granted her an opportunity for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at No Mercy. However, Lynch undisclosed injury and postponed the bout until the November 8 taping in Glasgow, Scotland. This saw the belt retained, but controversially as Alexa grabbed the ropes during the submission with the referee not seeing it.

Well, during Tuesday night’s episode of SmackDown, Bliss looked for an opportunity to get the women’s title during a backstage segment with Commissioner Shane McMahon. However, the Irish Lass Kicker would step in and say this will happen, but not until the WWE TLC pay-per-view. This will take place on Sunday, December 4. Five Feet of Fierce quickly accepted this, before Natalya intervened.

Despite the WWE TLC PPV being full of gimmick matches, no specific one got announced here. So, it sounds like Lynch vs. Bliss won’t be joining Sasha Banks and Charlotte’s department, for now.

The reign of Lynch has lasted for two-and-a-half months with one title defense so far. This second one could be her last, especially if WWE wants this feud to continue. A win over Bliss would likely end it and bring on heel challengers like Carmella or Natalya. Eva Marie may be lurking in the background too. Well, that’s if she ever returns at this point after making just three appearances on SmackDown before violating the Wellness Policy and filming a movie.

So, Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss II is on for the WWE TLC PPV. Who will walk out with the belt?
