WWE superstars celebrate 'National Superhero Day' by wishing they were villains

They already have superstrength, flashy costumes, and alter egos when they're not plying their trade in front of the world. But on National Superhero Day, your favorite WWE superstars imagined what it would be like if they were actually superheroes.
Unsurprisingly, most were reluctant to call themselves "heroes," so to speak. From Roman Reigns to Paige, these wrestlers preferred to be antiheroes at best and supervillains if they're being honest.

Take Ryback up there and his "Incredible Big Guy" shtick. According to the beast, his alignment doesn't need to be defined (via WWE.com):
"If you look at past actions of Ryback, I never came out and said I was a good guy. People just cheered me and screamed, ‘Feed me more!’ I have a huge ego that needs to be satisfied, so I feel I would have a little bit of both qualities. I don’t really believe there is right or wrong, only what you choose to believe.”
Reigns, on the other hand, totally cheated and claimed that he'd want to be both Wolverine and Magneto. It's cool that you want to embrace your heroic tendencies along with the destructive nature, but pick a side, man.
For his part, Dolph Ziggler admitted that he'd be a hero, albeit an accidental one as "Zig-Man." Beyond Ziggler, only Bo Dallas was willing to be a crusader for good, and he totally owns the bit as "Mr. Enchantment," a Captain Planet-type hero who inspires the world and makes plant grow.

He's the hero WWE needs.
You know what? If that's the case, we can understand why WWE stars want to be villains. Being a superhero sounds kind of boring when Dallas puts it like that.

Around the rest of the sports world, most athletes failed to celebrate the "holiday." But you can always count on NBA big man Robin Lopez, who's a huge comic book fan. He played the part on Thursday, showing off his Thor costume:

Now that we think about it, Lopez looks like he'd be right at home in the squared circle. He's seven feet tall, he's great with the media, and he's already famous for feuding with other people in costume.
