On Monday night (September 12, 2016), Raw stopped in Baltimore, Maryland where Roman Reigns was given the opportunity to be added to the main event at Clash of Champions, and defeating Kevin Owens on Raw would give him that golden ticket. Rusev had other ideas as he decided to insert himself into the match and distract Reigns just long enough for Owens to put the former Shield member down for the win. In the women’s division, Sasha Banks was forced to defend her number one contender status against both Bayley and Dana Brooke (who apparently is no longer Charlotte’s buddy), but Sasha was able to pull through and get the win to keep her status.
Plus, Nia Jax and Alicia Fox battle, Cesaro and Sheamus have their fifth match, and Sami Zayn gets and actual feud (for full coverage on the entire show, check out our review).
