WWE Power Rankings: Seth Rollins is back, but he's not No. 1

Welcome to the first edition of the weekly Fox Sports WWE Power Rankings. Each week, we'll be evaluating the WWE roster based on their performances on Raw, SmackDown and pay-per-views and their roles in current WWE storylines.

Styles' assault on John Cena and the reunification of The Club was one of the best Raw segments of the year, and the crowd's reaction to AJ Styles in Green Bay was nothing short of astounding. Since showing up in the WWE at the Royal Rumble, Styles has faced Chris Jericho at WrestleMania and main-evented two pay-per-views, putting on outstanding matches with Roman Reigns both times, and though he failed to win the WWE title, Styles won over countless fans. Now primed for a run against the returning John Cena as the leader of The Club, Styles is in a position that no wrestling fan could have dreamed a year ago

Rollins should probably be higher here, but his promo on Monday Night Raw - during which he didn't speak, dropped his mic multiple times and teased a confrontation with Reigns that never happened - was so weird and deflating that he drops to third. Rollins' character is in a strange place. He could be a mega-babyface, especially in a feud with Reigns, but Rollins turned on the crowd in his speech the night after showing up at Extreme Rules and is being positioned as a heel (that fans adore anyway), while Reigns is a face that most people can't stand.

Reigns, meanwhile, has dealt with the fans' antipathy admirably and has been a solid champion since WrestleMania. He should keep the belt in the near future and is the odds-on favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the upcoming WWE Draft.

In that order. The three Intercontinental Championship contenders weren't able to beat The Miz at Extreme Rules, but they've been the highlights television shows and pay-per-views in recent weeks, and all of them will have the chance at securing a WWE title shot at Money In The Bank later this month.

With Styles back at the helm of The Club and the debut of Finn Balor on the horizon, Anderson and Gallows are in position to be a part of a special, NWO-like stable that could dominate WWE. On Monday they flattened Big E before their surprise reunion with Styles at the end of the show, and whether or not they enter the tag team title picture, Anderson and Gallows are likely to keep barging into big matches and storylines.

If "DON'T YOU DARE BE SOUR" isn't a highlight of your week, you're probably lying.

In the suddenly loaded tag division, Enzo and Cass are consistently getting some of the biggest pops of the night each show, and we haven't even gotten to the inevitable New Day-Enzo and Cass feud.

Charlotte wrestled in her 11th consecutive pay-per-view last month at Extreme Rules, the longest streak in WWE history for a female wrestler - and it doesn't seem like the women's champion, who recently made her father cry on TV, will lose her title anytime soon.

Big match John is back in WWE and though he was destroyed on Monday by AJ Styles and The Club, a feud with Styles could deliver main-event caliber matches for months. Styles put on some incredible performances against Roman Reigns in recent months, and he should work equally well with Cena.

Ambrose found himself without a clear direction after a relatively disappointing WrestleMania 32 outing and a strange two-month feud with Chris Jericho, but he's back to wrestling every show and will take part in the Money In The Bank match with a title shot on the line.

WWE legend Jim Ross wrote on his blog that he believes Ambrose could benefit from a break.

Banks was reportedly out of action with a head injury, but was recently cleared and wrestled at house shows last weekend. She appeared in a WWE video promoting the upcoming brand split (and indicated that she'd prefer to be drafted to SmackDown), so it's just a matter of time until The Boss returns on television.

Triple H, meanwhile, hasn't been on television since his loss at WrestleMania 32, and his absence has given the duo of Shane and Stephanie McMahon plenty of space to run the show.
