WWE No Mercy 2016 Results: Rhyno and Heath Slater vs. Usos Video Highlights

What went down between The Usos and Heath Slater and Rhyno at No Mercy.
Without question, one of the feel-good stories of the WWE in 2016 has been that of Heath Slater. The perennial lower card jobber for the past 5 years, Slater burst back on to the scene after the RAW/SmackDown draft with his “hottest free agent” angle and it’s been nothing short of brilliant. The WWE Universe has been firmly behind Slater during this run and Heath has used that momentum to propel himself into success, partnering with veteran Rhyno to capture the inaugural WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. They would defend it at No Mercy.
On Sunday, the duo puts up their championships against the newly heel Usos. Jimmy and Jey, although not very successful over the last month have forced this match out of default, having injured a good portion of the SmackDown tag team division. So how would Slater and Rhyno’s first title defense go against the now vicious Usos boys?

The champs started hot but The Usos new found aggression came through quickly as they had Slater hurting early. Slater got an early hot tag to Rhyno who looked good for a minute but he too got chopped down by the challengers. Rhyno was then on the receiving end of a Uso-style beat down.

Slater got himself a hot tag but The Usos shut that down quickly. It seemed to be The Usos night until Slater came back with a top rope power slam to Jimmy. The Usos went for their now patented knee-injury maneuver but Rhyno gored that idea for the victory.
You know what this look means…
It means @Rhyno313 just connected with a GORE to pick up the win for he and @HeathSlaterOMRB! #WWENoMercy pic.twitter.com/GP3Kger9g6— WWE (@WWE) October 10, 2016
Huge win for Slater and Rhyno who suddenly look more like legit champs as opposed to a gimmick title reign. Good stuff, solid match. Did the right team walk out as champions?
