WWE Hell in a Cell 2016: 3 Potential Opponents for Sasha Banks After the PPV

Now that Sasha Banks and Charlotte seem to culminate their feud inside of the Cell Sunday, it is time to move onto the next chapter of their respective careers.
Hell in a Cell will be closing some chapters for the Raw brand. With that will come new feuds and new directions as the company heads towards Survivor Series. Sasha Banks and Charlotte had a hot summer feud that created history for the two talented ladies. What would be next for Banks?
Assuming that she will still be Women’s Champion after Sunday, there is plenty to keep The Boss busy as we enter WrestleMania season. Raw is in need to shape up after a few slump shows. While the women of Raw have been killing it every week, they continue to be one of the primary focal points to the flagship brand. That helps the show out, and the creative team must keep the momentum going.
As I thought of who could face Banks, it was funny that the more I thought about it, the more it fit in with the events that are coming up. Survivor Series and Royal Rumble are the big events, and then there is other pay-per-views that will happen in between. While I won’t fill in the blanks, here are three women who look to be in The Boss’ way after Sunday.

3. Dana Brooke
Brooke has her hands full with Bayley right now, and that brings me to my point. She hasn’t been hanging out with Charlotte lately, and with past history with all four women I can see this leading up to a Survivor Series match up. Monday would be the earliest Raw will start planting seeds for the Fall Classic. I would not be surprised to see something of this sort come out of it.
After the failed arm-wrestling segment from Monday, the feud with Brooke and Bayley will need rejuvenation. Enter Banks and Charlotte, whose bad blood could spill over into that feud and lead to Survivor Series. There was also a tease for Brooke and Charlotte to implode and cut ties with their partnership some time back. Could Banks be the straw that breaks the camel’s back? Hard to say right now, but I definitely see Brooke and Charlotte facing off sooner than later if WWE hasn’t given up on their partnership.

2. Nia Jax
Jax has been dominating the scene since her debut in July. She’s had a small program with Alicia Fox that dissipated as soon as it was started. Jax is a monster in the division and it will be a matter of time before she sets her sights on the top of the mountain. That is where Banks stands.
The match itself would be something different for either woman. Banks is no walk in the park for Jax, while Banks may not have dealt with someone like her. Jax’s biggest asset is her strength and size. Banks would have her work cut out for her as she tries to outsmart the monster. The Women’s Champion is smart in the ring, and that will be her best asset against Jax.
I’ve said this before, but with Jax she needs some real competition (no offense to Fox, who I do enjoy watching) and Banks will give that to her. There’s nowhere to go but up for Jax. The David v. Goliath scenario would be played out here, with Banks being the underdog. Both women are tough in their own right and I could see something like this being at the Royal Rumble with the buildup they have done with Jax.

1. Bayley
The history between these two ladies has to be saved for WrestleMania. Seeing them on the grandest stage adds to their legacy, and I can only imagine what could come out of the match. There will most likely be a Boss heel turn should this happen, and it should work out that way.
The term good friends, better enemies definitely applies to this duo. We have seen both of them at their best and at their worst. The ladies feed off of each other flawlessly, and fans are definitely in for something when these ladies tangle for the first time on the main roster.
Banks shined at this year’s WrestleMania and no doubt WrestleMania in Orlando would be the place to give Bayley a WrestleMania moment. Banks hasn’t won a high profile match against Bayley either, and that is something to think about when and if these ladies cross paths in the next several months. Regardless of what is going to happen the next few months, there is plenty to keep the Champion busy, and there is no room for error.
