WWE star Eva Marie was scheduled to finally make her wrestling debut on SmackDown Live Tuesday after a series of embarrassing gaffes forced referees to cancel her last two matches - but WWE came up with another way to keep her out of the ring.

Two weeks ago on SmackDown, Eva Marie was seconds away from a match with Becky Lynch when she "injured her leg" in a very suspicious manner after hopping off the middle rope. A week later, Eva Marie had a wardrobe malfunction, again spoiling a matchup with Lynch.

Eva Marie's opponent this week was supposed to be Naomi, who came out with a new neon entrance, but her personal narrator revealed in the middle of Eva Marie's entrance that she was "stuck in traffic." Seriously.

Fans seem to either love or hate what WWE is doing with Eva Marie, but Becky Lynch praised her fellow female star in an interview earlier this week.

Via Inquisitr:

Eva Marie did eventually show up later in the show, interrupting a tag team match, but Naomi came out and chased her around the ring before being taken out by Natalya.

Her weekly appearances are building to something, though. Mauro Ranallo later announced that there will be a six-woman tag match featuring the stars of SmackDown at SummerSlam: Becky Lynch, Carmella and Naomi vs. Eva Marie, Alexa Bliss and Natalya.
