Vince McMahon returned to Monday Night Raw and closed the show by announcing his final decision on which one of his children will take control of WWE SmackDown when the show goes live starting July 19th. Stephanie and Shane McMahon both made their cases in the ring, and the CEO made the popular choice by appointing Shane McMahon to the position, before revealing that Stephanie McMahon will serve as the commissioner of Raw.

The announcement came just eight days before the WWE Draft, and Vince McMahon also stated that each commissioner will have to appoint a general manager for their show next Monday - which opens up the possibility for Teddy Long or Vickie Guerrero to make a comeback after their respective appearances on Raw over the last month.

There are some far better options than Guerrero or Long, however. It is rumored that Daniel Bryan - who recently returned to work as a commentator for the Cruiserweight Classic - is being considered for one of the jobs, and he'd be a massive hit with fans. A longshot is Paul Heyman, who has been gone from WWE programming during Brock Lesnar's absence. Heyman could have even more free time if Lesnar returns to UFC again.
