Brock Lesnar Returns at WWE Mexico City, Defeats Rusev (Video)

Brock Lesnar’s latest return won’t be seen on WWE programming, but he did have a match on Saturday night.
Brock Lesnar had been set to have an epic WrestleMania 20 rematch with Goldberg. The storyline made it look like that was the one person who Lesnar couldn’t defeat. However, the former WCW star would win in 86 seconds in Survivor Series’ main event.
Since then. Paul Heyman announced that the Beast Incarnate would be in the 2017 Royal Rumble match. He joins Goldberg as the only two to have been set for the annual bout, which has WrestleMania main event implications.
Before that, though, Lesnar would make an appearance at the WWE live event in Mexico City, Mexico, This took place on Saturday night as he faced former two-time United States champion, Rusev. Lesnar won the match within minutes.
Photos and videos from the appearance can be seen below.

Nothing much to see here as this is pretty much the expected result. Lesnar won’t be losing at any live event or wrestling for more than 5-10 minutes.
This will probably be the last time we see Lesnar until the build for the Royal Rumble gets underway, which won’t be until the end of December or early January. It will kick off him, Goldberg, and 28 other Superstars fighting for the main event spot at WrestleMania 33. Given where those two wrestlers are headed toward, though, it would seem they’re going to face each other one last time.
So, are you missing Brock Lesnar from WWE TV? Or is his likely absence into 2017 good enough?
