Brock Lesnar Among FanSided's Fandom 250 Nominees

WWE and UFC star Brock Lesnar has made his way into FanSided’s Fandom 250.
Brock Lesnar has become a major attraction in the fighting world over the past decade. He first rose to notoriety with the University of Minnesota wrestling team in the early 2000’s, then transitioned to WWE as a Superstar. However, after a few years, he moved to Japan for wrestling, and then to the octagon as a UFC fighter for a handful of years. During this time, Lesnar has become a name that more fans than ever have become aware of.
Well, as part of their Fandom 250, FanSided has named Brock Lesnar’s fanbase as one of the 250 best in sports, entertainment, and lifestyle. He recently got nominated with other popular names in each of these three areas for FanSided’s list.
Lesnar is currently strengthening his name in WWE. He returned in 2012 after an 8-year absence, and has since become one of the most dominant stars in the company. This is even with his 86-second loss to Goldberg at Survivor Series.
Throughout the Beast Incarnate’s WWE return, he has received “Suplex City” chants. This started when he said, “Suplex City, b***h” to Roman Reigns in their WrestleMania 31 match. The venue microphone caught wind of this, leading to it becoming a merchandise tagline for WWE. Well, expect for the third word.
Lesnar also recently took part in his first MMA fight in five years. He fought and defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July. The fight showed that the 39-year-old still had plenty of fans left, that supported him in the octagon.
Brock Lesnar’s spot in FanSided’s Fandom 250 is well-deserved and should be ranked highly when the official list is revealed in December.
