Despite her pregnancy, Brie Bella is already talking about returning to the ring next summer for WWE.
WrestleMania 32 would be WWE star Brie Bella’s final match. This saw her, Paige, Natalya, Alicia Fox, and Eva Marie defeat the non-Total Divas stars. Nikki Bella, who had been out with a neck injury, came out after the match to help celebrate Brie’s last moment in a wrestling ring.
Since then, the former Divas Champion has begun starting a family with Daniel Bryan. She announced her pregnancy earlier this fall with a due date set for April. However, this apparently isn’t going to stop her from a future in-ring return.
In an interview with Digital Spy to talk about the return of Total Divas, Brie not only spoke about season six, but of a potential return to the ring.
“I’m giving birth in April so I’d love to make a comeback at SummerSlam if the boss lets me, we’ll see – fingers crossed.”
“If I can get in good enough shape that quick… I’d love to do it that quick.”

When the 32-year-old has retired from the ring, it seemed to be a permanent one to start a family and be with Bryan, who had to retire in February from multiple head injuries. He has since returned to WWE TV as the SmackDown General Manager, so maybe, a situation could play out where Brie gets back on programming next summer while Bryan transitions back to home life. He won’t stay in an authority role forever.
Brie Bella is seemingly hopeful of coming back to a WWE ring that’s cluttered with women on both brands. Even if there is room for her in about nine months, we’ll have to see if Vince McMahon wants this comeback to happen.
