Virginia will be without women's coach Joanne Boyle for its game against Longwood on Tuesday night.

The school says Boyle is attending to a personal matter -- finalizing her adoption of a child from Senegal. She is expected back with the team for its Friday game against Saint Mary's or its Sunday game against Howard.

The school says associate head coach Kim McNeill will guide the team in Boyle's absence.
