Amber Harris scored 22 points, including a layup that sent the game to overtime, and No. 6 Xavier held on for an 80-79 victory over Dayton on Wednesday night that extended the Musketeers' winning streak to 12 games and kept them perfect in the Atlantic 10.
Xavier (21-3, 10-0) trailed by 10 points at halftime. Harris' layup with 34 seconds left in regulation tied it at 70, and Dayton (20-6, 8-3) missed a shot at the buzzer, forcing the extra period.
Dayton cut it to 80-79 on Kari Daugherty's two free throws with 34 seconds left in overtime. Special Jennings missed a jumper, but Ta'Shia Phillips got the rebound to seal the win.
Jennings led Xavier with 23 points and seven assists. Justine Raterman led Dayton with 24 points.
