No. 24 Georgia women overtake Ohio State 67-59

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) Tiaria Griffin scored 16 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, to lead No. 24 Georgia to a 67-59 comeback win over Ohio State on Wednesday night.

Trailing 28-24 at the break, Georgia (3-0) retook the lead during a 10-0 run fueled by Mackenzie Engram, who scored eight of the points, making it 55-50 with 3:44 to go. Ohio State (1-2) responded with a 3-pointer from Cait Craft to close the gap to two but the Lady Bulldogs pulled away down the stretch.

Shacobia Barbee contributed 13 points and seven rebounds, while Krista Donald and Engram had 12 points apiece for Georgia, which held a 50-37 rebounding advantage over Ohio State. Engram also had 10 rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Kelsey Mitchell led Ohio State with 26 points and seven rebounds, while Craft added 17 points and Ameryst Alston had 13 rebounds.
