Jennifer Hamson and Haley Steed scored 14 points apiece and No. 23 BYU defeated San Diego 64-50 on Saturday.
The Cougars (22-5, 11-2 West Coast) shook off a home loss to San Francisco on Thursday, using a 19-0 run in the second half to break away from a one-point lead.
Kristen Riley had 12 points and 13 rebounds and Lexi Eaton scored 11 points for the Cougars.
Dominique Conners had 11 points and Morgan Woodrow scored 10 for San Diego (19-6, 10-3). The Toreros led 41-38 with 11 minutes to play but only scored nine more points.
