Shenneika Smith scored 17 points and No. 20 St. John's routed Manhattan 77-51 on Tuesday night.
Sky Lindsay and Coco Hart each added 12 for the Red Storm (2-1), who ran out to a 40-19 halftime lead.
Abby Wentworth scored 14 points and Lindsey Loutsenhizer added 11 for the Jaspers (1-1).
St. John's scored first on Smith's layup, led 11-2 early and never trailed. The Red Storm scored 25 of their first-half points off of Manhattan turnovers and closed the half on a 19-6 run.

They led by as many as 28 points in the second half.
The Red Storm, who entered the season ranked 14th - their best ranking ever - were coming off a 64-53 loss to Kansas State on Saturday.
