No. 18 Georgetown 67, Pittsburgh 57

Sugar Rodgers scored 14 of her 16 points in the second half and No. 18 Georgetown snapped a two-game skid with a 67-57 victory over Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.

Rodgers made three consecutive 3-pointers that gave Georgetown (21-7, 9-5 Big East) a 56-47 lead with 6:22 remaining. Her 3-pointer with 10:24 left gave the Hoyas their first lead of the game. In the first half, Rodgers shot 0-for-5 from behind the arc.

Jania Sims had 17 points and Taneisha Harrison added 16 for Pittsburgh (13-14, 5-9).

Alexa Roche made a 3-pointer as the horn sounded that pulled Georgetown to 29-25 at halftime.

Tommacina McBride scored 12 points for the Hoyas, who overcame a nine-point deficit in the first half.
