Casey Morris scored 22 of her career-best 24 points in the first half and No. 16 Texas Tech cruised to an 88-48 victory over Texas-Arlington on Wednesday night.
Morris scored the first eight points for Texas Tech and hit three 3-pointers as the Lady Raiders (8-0) jumped out to a 20-1 lead. She finished with six 3s.
Texas-Arlington (1-5) shot 1 for 7 from the field and committed nine turnovers to start the game as Texas Tech pulled away to a 46-15 halftime advantage.
Malaika Green had nine points to lead the Mavericks.
