Jones perfect for No. 4 Baylor in 87-52 win over K-State

WACO, Texas (AP) Alexis Jones scored 15 points without missing a shot and No. 4 Baylor stretch its winning streak to nine games with an 87-52 victory over Kansas State on Wednesday night.

Niya Johnson had eight points and 13 assists for the Lady Bears (22-1, 9-1 Big 12), who scored the game's first six points and never trailed.

Jones was 5-of-5 shooting with three 3-pointers. The junior guard also made her only two free throws, to go along with six assists and four rebounds.

Khadijiah Cave had 16 points and Kristy Wallace 10 for Baylor.

Kindred Wesemann scored 15 points and Breanna Lewis 10 for Kansas State (14-7, 4-6).

After Baylor jumped to a 17-8 lead through the first quarter, Jones hit all of her 3-pointers in a 22-2 run to open the second quarter.
