Jones' double-double leads No. 24 GW women past Dayton 67-56

WASHINGTON (AP) Jonquel Jones had 18 points and 18 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the season as No. 24 George Washington beat Dayton 67-56 on Sunday for its 19th straight win.
George Washington trailed 17-14 before going on a 17-2 run, capped by Jones' 3-pointer. Jones had 12 points and seven rebounds in the first half as the Colonials built a 39-29 lead.
Caira Washington had 11 points and 10 rebounds for George Washington (21-2, 10-0 Atlantic 10), which is now tied for the second-longest winning streak in program history.
Both conference losses for Dayton (17-5, 8-2), the reigning regular-season A-10 champion, have come against GW. The Flyers had their 31-game home winning streak snapped in a 69-66 loss to the Colonials on Jan. 4.
Andrea Hoover scored 16 and Ally Malott added 12 for Dayton.
The Flyers trailed by 19 points before going on a 17-4 spurt to get within 62-56.
