Brittney Griner has been selected as the Big 12 women's basketball Player of the Year for the second year in a row by the league's coaches.

Baylor's Kim Mulkey was named the Big 12 Coach of the Year for the second year in a row. The Lady Bears (31-0, 18-0 Big 12) were the only major college team to finish the regular season undefeated.

Joining Griner as unanimous choices on the All-Big 12 first team Monday were sophomore guard Odyssey Sims, her teammate with top-ranked Baylor, and Iowa State junior forward Chelsea Poppens.

Griner is the Big 12 leading scorer with 23.3 points a game. The 6-foot-8 junior already with 550 career blocked shots was also picked as the league's top defender for the third consecutive season.
