Brittney Griner had 28 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks to lead second-ranked Baylor to a 89-46 exhibition rout of St. Edward's University on Monday night.

Ashley Field added 14 points and Brooklyn Pope had nine points and 15 rebounds for the Lady Bears, tuning up for a rematch with top-ranked Connecticut in Hartford on Nov. 16 after losing to the Huskies last year in the national semifinals.

Kendra Field and Stephanie Dekkers led the Division II Hilltoppers with eight points each.

Griner, a 6-8 sophomore, set the NCAA single-season record for blocked shots with 223 last season. St. Edward's, which scored only 10 points in the paint, took almost half of its 51 shots from outside the 3-point arc.
