McBride scores 25 as Stars roll past Atlanta Dream 102-85

SAN ANTONIO (AP) Kayla McBride scored 25 points and Danielle Robinson had 10 points and 12 assists to lead the San Antonio Stars to a 102-85 win over the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday night.
Jayne Appel added 10 of her career-high 15 points in the third quarter for the Stars (6-12), who scored the first 12 points of the second half to break the game open. Valeriane Ayayi of France had 10 in her debut.
McBride had 21 points in the first half when San Antonio, which set a season high for points, led 47-42.
The Stars were without veteran Danielle Adams, who was suspended earlier in the day for three games for an unspecified violation of the league's anti-drug policy.
Angel McCoughtry led Atlanta (7-11) with 14 points.
Reshanda Gray, acquired in an All-Star break trade, had 13 points. The rookie had six points in 10 games with Minnesota.
