Without Williams sisters, U.S. faces test vs. Italy

Without Serena and Venus Williams, the United States is relying on 18-year-old Melanie Oudin and a veteran doubles specialist in the Fed Cup final against Italy.

The young American squad is led by Oudin — the surprise U.S. Open quarterfinalist — and 20-year-old Alexa Glatch, with doubles player Liezel Huber in the team leader role.
