Top 3 seeds cruise in round robin openers in Bali

The top three seeds all won their first round-robin matches at the Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions on Wednesday, with No. 1 Marion Bartoli beating Magdalena Rybarikova of Slovakia 6-4, 6-4.
Second-seeded Samantha Stosur of Australia defeated Agnes Szavay of Hungary 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 in Group B and No. 3 Yanina Wickmayer of Belgium overcame Kimiko Date Krumm of Japan 7-6 (5), 6-3 in Group C.
The tournament features the top 10 women who won a WTA Tour event this season — but didn't qualify for last week's WTA championships in Doha, Qatar — along with two wild cards.
Fourth-seeded Sabine Lisicki lost her Group D match against Aravane Rezai 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
The 12 players are divided into four groups, with a round-robin stage before the semifinals.
