The Latest: Radwanska wins opening match on Centre Court

LONDON (AP) The Latest on Wimbledon (all times local):
2:20 p.m.
With the Centre Court roof closed on a rainy Day 3 at Wimbedon, third-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska advanced to the second round with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Kateryna Kozlova.
Radwanska, the Wimbledon runner-up in 2012, thoroughly dominated the 97th-ranked Ukrainian in just over an hour.
Radwanska has never lost a first-round match in 11 appearances at the All England Club. Kozlova was making her main draw debut at Wimbledon.

The retractable roof has been closed for the opening Centre Court match on Day 3 at Wimbledon.
Third-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska is playing Kateryna Kozlova in a first-round match.
Rain has disrupted play on the outside courts, with showers forecast off and on throughout the day, along with blustery winds and cool temperatures.
In one completed match, 10th-seeded Tomas Berdych finished a 7-6 (5), 5-7, 6-1, 7-6 (2) win over Ivan Dodig on Court 18. The match had been suspended in progress by rain Tuesday.

Play on the outside courts on Day 3 at Wimbledon - scheduled to start at 11:30 - has been delayed by rain.
Play on Centre Court, which has a retractable roof, is scheduled to start as normal at 1 p.m.
On Tuesday, rain forced suspension in progress or complete postponement of a total of 30 matches. That leaves Wednesday's schedule packed with a mix of first- and second-round contests.
More showers are forecast for Wednesday afternoon.

Roger Federer has never faced an opponent at Wimbledon quite like this.
The seven-time champion - perhaps the greatest player of all time - has a second-round match on Centre Court on Wednesday against a 772nd-ranked British qualifier who had never won a tour-level match until Monday.
Marcus Willis, 25, is the lowest-ranked qualifier to reach the second round of a Grand Slam since 1988. He gives tennis lessons at a club in central England and was only recently talked out of giving up on his goal of making it on the pro tour by his girlfriend.
Now, Willis gets to face Federer on the most famous court in tennis.
Up first on Centre Court will be third-seeded women's player Agnieszka Radwanska against Kateryna Kozlova. Then comes defending men's champion Novak Djokovic against Adrian Mannarino.
