Sharapova gets a marriage proposal at Russia's World Cup game -- and responds

World Cup fever has spread throughout the globe, infecting old and new soccer fans alike and effectively bringing workplace productivity to a halt.

Maria Sharapova is not immune to what's going on in Brazil, and the 27-year-old tennis champ tuned into Russia's match against Algeria despite playing in some tournament called Wimbledon.

And while she didn't catch the Russians' lone goal, she did happen to see this:

Alas, the Algerians ended up tying the game, and the Russians failed to advance to the knockout round. Though a marriage to the newly-minted French Open winner may help to ease the Russia fans' blow.
