Nadal edges Cilic in 3 sets, advances to Swiss Indoors semis

BASEL, Switzerland (AP) Rafael Nadal rode another comeback win into the Swiss Indoors semifinals, beating Marin Cilic 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 on Friday.
Third-seeded Nadal trailed by a set and a break before getting his third three-set win this week.
The match turned when seventh-seeded Cilic's service faltered and Nadal seized a fourth straight break-point chance to lead 5-3 in the second.
Nadal broke service twice more and clinched when the tall Croatian sent a backhand volley wide.
In Saturday's semifinals, Nadal plays Richard Gasquet. The fifth-seeded Frenchman saved a match point to beat big-serving Ivo Karlovic of Croatia 6-4, 6-7 (2), 7-6 (6).
Top-seeded Roger Federer played later against David Goffin of Belgium, with Jack Sock awaiting the winner.
Sock rallied to beat Donald Young 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 in an all-American quarterfinal.
