Martinez to captain Spain in Fed Cup through 2015

MADRID -- Conchita Martinez has accepted the Spanish tennis federation's offer to continue as the Fed Cup captain until 2015.

Martinez, the 1994 Wimbledon winner, took over the captaincy from Arantxa Sanchez Vicario in 2013. The 42-year-old Martinez won the Fed Cup five times as a player.

Spain is in World Group II. Its next tie is against Romania in February.
