Italy to host France in 1st round of 2015 Fed Cup

PARIS -- Titleholder Italy will host France in the first round of the 2015 Fed Cup.

Also in the first round on Feb. 7-8, Germany will host Australia for their third tie in four years. The Germans travelled to Brisbane in April to beat Australia 3-1 in the semifinals. Germany goes to the Czech Republic for the final in November.

The Czechs will open in Canada next year, and Russia will visit Poland.

The semifinals next year are scheduled for April 18-19, and the final for Nov. 14-15.

The draw took place on Wednesday at Roland Garros.

In World Group II, it's Argentina vs. the United States, Romania vs. Spain, Netherland vs. Slovakia, and Sweden vs. Switzerland.
