Davis Cup: Argentina and Croatia Will Meet in Final

Argentina and Croatia will meet for the Davis Cup title.
Leonardo Mayer of Argentina carried his team past Great Britain in a Davis Cup semi when he defeated Dan Evnas 4-6, 6-4, 6-2, 6-4. Mayer had to sub in for Juan Martin del Potro. Del Potro had, earlier in this semifinal, defeated Andy Murray in a very exciting match. While the Murray brothers won in doubles and Murray won his other singles match over Guido Pella, it wasn’t enough for Great Britain. After the match, Murray said that he was exhausted from playing so much tennis. No wonder. With his excellent season, Murray has played a lot of tennis.
Marin Cilic clinched a trip to the finals for his sidewhen he defeated Richard Gasquet by a score of 6-3, 6-3, 7-5 to go up 3-1 on France to clinch their spot in the final matchup against Argentina. In the final rubber, which meant nothing, Lucas Pouille of France defeated Marin Draganja of Croatia 6-4, 6-4. Pouille had lost his first singles match to Cilic, while Gasquet defeated Borna Coric in his first singles match.
The finals will be held in Croatia from November 25-27. It should be exciting.
