Champion Czechs go to Romania to open 2016 Fed Cup tourney

Titleholder Czech Republic will travel to Romania in the first round of the 2016 Fed Cup.

The Czechs have made it to the final again this year, facing Russia in November.

Also, on the weekend of Feb. 6-7, last year's finalist Germany will host Switzerland.

France will open against Italy, and the Netherlands will travel to Russia.

The draw was on Wednesday at Roland Garros.

In World Group II, it's Slovakia vs. Australia, Canada vs. Belarus, the United States vs. Poland, and Serbia vs. Spain.
