KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. (AP) Victoria Azarenka advanced to the Miami Open final by beating No. 2-seeded Angelique Kerber 6-2, 7-5 Thursday night.

Azarenka, who won the tournament in 2009 and 2011, will play Saturday against 2006 champion Svetlana Kuznetsova. The Russian erased 12 of the 14 break points she faced in a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Timea Bacsinszky.

Azarenka, seeded 13th, improved to 21-1 this year. She has yet to drop a set in the tournament, and is bidding to become only the third woman to win Indian Wells and Key Biscayne in the same year.
