ATP World Tour Finals: action culminates with the most anticipated match of 2016. The two top players in men’s tennis will square off in London.

ATP World Tour Finals: the O2 Arena in London has become the biggest stage in men’s tennis 2016. Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic meet for the 35th time in their careers for a finals match at the O2.

Head-to-head all-time, Djokovic controls the rivalry with a record of 24-10The number one and two ranked players in tennis face each other Sunday.

Djokovic reflected on the history between himself and Murray, calling it first a “romance” and then moving onto to define it as a “bromance.”

The two have developed a unique relationship both on and off the court. That relationship takes on new life with their finals matchup in London. A win at the O2 Arena Sunday would be critical for both Murray or Djokovic.

    Andy Murray is the current world number one. He overtook Djokovic’s position on top in the second half of the 2016 season. Now, he must defend that ranking as he shoots to dethrone the current defending champion in London.

    Murray does, however, appear to be at the top of his game. 2016 will likely go down as one of the best seasons in the Scot’s career. He also has closed the gap when it comes to finals matches between himself and Djokovic, bringing his record to 7-10.

    Both at the age of 29, Murray and Djokovic have quickly joined the ranks of the greatest to ever play the sport of tennis. If Djokovic can win in London, he will equal Roger Federer’s 6 Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. He has won 5 all-time and has plenty to play for this finals.
