Young Boys defender Emiliano Dudar has been woken from the medically induced coma he was placed in after sustaining a head injury in an accidental collision with a teammate.
The Swiss club says Dudar's condition is stable after he was concussed and broke his nose clashing heads with Francois Affolter during a league match against FC Basel on Sunday.
The 29-year-old Argentine was treated on the Stade de Suisse pitch for eight minutes before being taken to the hospital.
Young Boys led 2-0 when Dudar was injured late in the first
half, then drew the match 2-2.
