The 21-year-old Belgian was substituted midway through the second half of PSV's 2-1 win over Vitesse Arnhem at the Philips Stadion after picking up a knock which was today diagnosed as external meniscus damage to his right knee.
"I felt there was something wrong yesterday," he told PSV TV.
"A disappointment, sure. "Therefore, I will focus on my recovery and the start of preparations for the new season."
