Evian winger Sidney Govou is set to miss the rest of the season after rupturing his Achilles tendon in Saturday's 3-2 home defeat to Sochaux.
The former France winger came off late in the first half and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital in Annecy, the club said on its website, adding that his absence is ''estimated at about three months.''
The 32-year-old Govou recently found his form after a tough start to the season, scoring in consecutive games against Rennes and Caen.
