West Brom ended a run of six straight losses by beating visiting Blackpool 3-2 with a late winner rom Peter Odemwingie in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Blackpool scored first through David Vaughan, but West Brom went in front thanks to Odemwingie and James Morrison before and after halftime.

Gary Taylor-Fletcher equalized for Blackpool in the 80th, then Odemwingie hit the winner with three minutes left at The Hawthorns.

West Brom was four points above the relegation zone, while Blackpool dropped to 10th in the standings.

Vaughan, given space and time 20 meters out, drilled in the first goal past West Brom goalkeeper Boaz Myhill.

Odemwingie delivered the equalizer, set up by Graham Dorrans in the 37th. Odemwingie beat the offside trap and rounded keeper Richard Kingson for his seventh league goal.

Morrison put in a rebound of Jerome Thomas' shot in the 52nd, only for Taylor-Fletcher to level for Blackpool off a cross from substitute Matt Phillips.

But there was still time for Odemwingie to cap the thriller.
