Werder Bremen tops list for Euro 2008 handout

Werder Bremen tops the list of clubs getting compensation for letting their players take part in last summer's European Championship.
The German club will receive almost €1.1 million ($1.39 million) from the €43.5 million ($55 million) set aside for the Euro 2008 fund, UEFA said Thursday.
