CHESTER, Pa. (AP) Andrew Wenger scored twice in the second overtime period, and the Philadelphia Union rallied for a 3-1 win over the Harrisburg City Islanders in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday.

Maurice Edu tied the game in the 89th minute and Sebastien Le Toux had two assists for the Union, who staved off an upset bid from their USL Pro affiliate.

The Union advance to play the New York Cosmos of the NASL next Tuesday at PPL Park.

Jason Pelletier scored for Harrisburg, pouncing on a rebound in the 38th minute after Union goalkeeper Andre Blake made a diving save on Coady Andrews. Blake, the top pick in the 2014 draft, was making his first professional start.

It was the first game for Jim Curtin since he was promoted to interim Philadelphia manager after the Union fired John Hackworth last week.
