Webo agent contacts Prem trio

The Baggies have monitored Cameroon international Webo for some time and have been alerted to the news the 29-year-old has issued Mallorca with a contract ultimatum as he targets a new long-term deal. Webo first caught the eye of Albion scouts after impressing in a pre-season friendly at The Hawthorns three seasons - and his agent has told Baggies officials to be on standby if he fails to reach agreement with the Spanish team. The Express & Star claims Webo's representative Eugenio Botas has also contacted the Black Cats and the Magpies, though, so competition would be fierce for the 5ft 11ins frontman. Albion boss Roy Hodgson has made no secret of the fact he wants to bolster his attacking options, having had a bid for Watford striker Danny Graham turned down and been linked with a move for Fulham's Andrew Johnson. Webo has enjoyed a successful season in La Liga, scoring 11 goals in 34 appearances and impressing Mallorca fans with his workrate.
