UEFA has named English referee Howard Webb to take charge of the Champions League final.
UEFA said Thursday that the 38-year-old Webb will be assisted by linesmen Michael Mullarkey and Darren Cann when Bayern Munich faces Inter Milan in Madrid on Saturday.
The three Englishmen also will work together as a team at the World Cup in South Africa.
It's the first time Webb has been eligible to referee European football's most prestigious club match.

He has been on the international list since 2005, but an English club has been in the Champions League final for each of the past five seasons.
